AYMING

AYMING (ex ALMA Consulting Group) is an Operational Management Consulting Company of which the BU Grant Solutions, settled in Lyon, France is specialized since 1994 in the engineering and coordination of collaborative, both national and international, R&D projects.

AYMING owns a recognised expertise in the management of collaborative projects (since 5th FP) covering all thematic taking in charge the day-to-day operational project management. For fifteen years, AYMING, thanks to its collaboration with R&D consortia, has developed specific and original knowledge and methodologies in the management of partnerships to support them efficiently in the achievement of their objectives.

 

Department involved in the project

The Grant Solutions Innovation Department consists of 30 employees with graduated engineer, PhD background or European policies experts with complementary training in marketing, technology transfer and project management.

Main contribution to the project

AYMING actions, based on its collaborative projects’ coordination experience, will be dedicated to the day-to-day management of the project including the leading of contract management activities.

In particular, AYMING will participate in 1) the definition and follow-up of management policy, appropriate rules (through a consortium agreement), project progress indicators and project committees, 2) the communication policy between participants, animation of the consortium, maintenance of the intra-consortium internet platform, 3) consulting on project strategic orientation with respect of the contractual aspects, objectives of the project and interests of the participants. Assistance “as neutral partner” in decision making and conflict resolution, 4) the setting-up of technical, administrative and financial reports according to EC requirements.


Key people involved

Emmanuelle Kiener, Dipl. Ing. Chemistry from CPE Lyon and Master of Materials graduate (Lyon 1 University), she previously worked at Wacker Polymers Systems (Germany) on several R&D projects about the formulation of plastics composites for the Automotive Industry. Emmanuelle Kiener is Consultant in the Innovation Department of AYMING for 7 years. She has been involved in the setting-up of several European collaborative projects (7th Framework Programme, LIFE+, RFCS) in the NMP, Environment and ICT themes. She works currently on the day-to-day management of European collaborative projects, FAB2ASM, AETHER, LOWFLIP and FIRECOMP projects.
